Start with your exam board

AQA, OCR and Pearson Edexcel organise and name their practical activities differently. The transferable apparatus and practical skills are common, but the required or core practical list must be checked against your own current specification.

Two different targets matter. The Practical Endorsement is assessed through practical work completed during the course. Practical knowledge and skills are also assessed in written examinations, where students may need to plan, interpret or evaluate an unfamiliar investigation.
