Qualified Secondary School Teacher • Smethwick & Birmingham • GCSE & A-Level Maths, Biology, Chemistry & Physics
Kevin Johal is a qualified secondary school teacher and co-founder of Teaching Success. He brings full classroom experience to every tutoring session — not a degree and a hope, but a teacher who knows exactly what examiners look for, how schools set targets, and where students typically lose marks under pressure.
Kevin specialises in secondary and sixth-form Maths and Science. His students range from Year 7 students building their first algebra foundations through to Year 13 students preparing for A-Level Biology, Chemistry or Physics papers. He has worked with students targeting grade 4 at GCSE foundation and students pushing for A* at A-Level, and structures sessions differently for each.
Sessions are built around your child's specific exam board, year group and gap profile — not a generic syllabus. Kevin uses past papers, mark schemes and examiner reports as core teaching tools rather than worksheets.
